What is the max number of guests allowed?

8 (including children), with a max of 6 adults. We recommend 6 for the space.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

• Master bedroom (upstairs) - King Bed.

• Kids bedroom (upstairs) - Bunk Bed (double on bottom, single on top).

• Main Floor bedroom (main floor) - Queen Bed.

• Bunkie - King Bed (day bed, so can be used as a single or a king)

Are pets allowed?

• Generally speaking we are pet free; however, on occasion we will consider so please reach out!

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in @ 3pm. Check-out @ 10am.

Is there Wifi?

Yes, unlimited (Starlink).

What are the dining arrangements?

• Inside - dining table for 8

• Outside - dining table on deck for 8

How many showers & bathrooms?

2 full bathrooms with showers.

Are linens & towels included?

Yes. For week-long stays, 8 bath towels, 8 wash cloths, and 8 beach towels are provided. For shorter stays we generally provide 6 bath towels, 6 wash cloths and 6 beach towels.

Do you have beach toys?

Yes. We have a variety of buckets and toys to keep the kiddos busy.

What about SUPs, Kayaks, etc.?

• 2 floaty tubes

• 6’ x 18’ water mat

• Pedal Boat

Are there TV’s?

Yes, two Smart TVs (1 in living room, 1 in master).

Is there a BBQ?

Yes, with a backup propane tank.

Can we drink the tap water?

We have UV Filters and its tested fine, but it is lake water, so we recommend only drinking from the water cooler (inside cabinet to left of coffee maker). Water jugs (3 for a week-long rental, 2 for shorter rentals) are provided.

Can we brush our teeth with the tap water?

We do (since there is a UV filter) as long as you don’t swallow.

Can we cook with tap water?

We wash vegetables, cook, clean up with tap water. Basically we use it for everything except drinking,

What do we do with garbage?

Take full bags to the bin at the top of the driveway. Garbage day is Monday (even on long weekends).

Are there lifejackets?

Yes, we have a variety of lifejackets available for kids and adults. They are stored in the bunkie.

What are the cottage rules?

• Respect the neighbours

• No diving off dock

• No smoking

• No parties

• Quiet after 10pm

• No fireworks

• No campfires if there’s a fire ban (you can use the propane fire table on deck at all times)

Is there a workspace?

Yes, in the detached bunkie. There is a desk and wi-fi. The bunkie is not insulated.

Is there laundry at the cottage?

No; however, in Bala (10 minutes) there is a coin-operated laundry mat.

No, but there’s a lake & ceiling fans :)
